Warranty Policy

Bike Warranty Coverage

Surge Motors provides a one-year warranty on the following main components:

• Battery
• Motor
• Controller
• Charger

These components are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Electrical Component Warranty

Smaller electrical components are covered for 3 months from the date of purchase.

This includes:

• Display/screen
• Throttle
• Headlight
• Taillight
• Other minor electrical components

What Warranty Covers

If an approved manufacturing defect occurs:

The defective component itself will be covered under warranty. The customer will not be responsible for the cost of the approved replacement component.

International shipping costs for replacement parts from the manufacturer to Dubai are the responsibility of the customer.

Where applicable, Surge Motors may arrange shipment of replacement components directly from the supplier to the customer's country.

Any customs duties, import fees, taxes, or additional charges in the customer's country remain the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Installation of approved warranty replacement parts will be completed free of charge at Surge Motors. Customers must bring the bike to our facility.

If transportation or collection of the bike is required, all transport charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

Approved installation labour costs paid to a qualified technician may be reimbursed by Surge Motors.

Reimbursement is subject to:

• Prior approval from Surge Motors.
• Reasonable labour charges.
• Proof of payment.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

• Accidental damage
• Crash damage
• Impact damage
• Water damage
• Incorrect use
• Negligence
• Incorrect charging or storage
• Normal wear and tear
• Battery degradation over time
• Natural reduction in battery capacity due to usage and charging cycles

Warranty Approval Process

Before approving a warranty claim, Surge Motors may request:

• Photos
• Videos
• Diagnostic information
• Additional details about the issue

This allows us to properly identify the cause of the problem and determine warranty eligibility.

Warranty Void Conditions

Warranty coverage will become void if any major powertrain components are replaced, modified, or upgraded without approval from Surge Motors.

This includes:

• Battery
• Motor
• Controller
• Charger

Installing unauthorised aftermarket powertrain upgrades may void warranty coverage.

International Warranty Support

Customers outside the UAE can receive warranty assistance through Surge Motors.

Warranty support may require remote diagnosis and additional information before replacement parts are approved.

Transportation arrangements, customs requirements, and local regulations outside the UAE remain the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

Warranty Location

Warranty services are provided through Surge Motors UAE.

Customers are responsible for arranging transportation of their bike or affected components to Surge Motors unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.
